I love living in Boulder, CO. Not only do I get the amazing scenery, excellent school district, and bike paths to nearly anywhere I want to go… the folks in this community also have a deep commitment to the environment.
When this environmental commitment meets at the cross street of local business, that is especially exciting.
Elevations Credit Union, in conjunction with Energy Smart in Boulder County and The Denver Energy Challenge, recently launched the Elevations Energy Loan initiative for homeowners and business owners. The Business Energy Loans offer local* retailers and building owners an inexpensive and easy way to make upgrades to energy-sucking structures. Think about how much money you are losing – especially during the winter. Then, think about how much money you could be SAVING!
Business Energy Loans start as low as 3.75% APR* and have a variety of term limits. These loans can be as low as $1000 and as high as $150,000 (check the Elevations CU site for full details.) Got an old furnace? Crumbly windows? Leaky roof? This is a FANTASTIC way to get those much needed upgrades… it’s practically free money!
How does it work? Well, it’s as easy as 1,2,3. First apply for your business loan by clicking here (I have applied for several personal loans through Elevations and I can tell you that the process is very easy and the staff is super friendly). Next, you talk with the “energy advising team” (sounds pretty cool, huh? a whole team dedicated to making your building better!) then, find your contractor and get any available rebates. Awesome!
You can also check out this cool video they made, to learn more about the program.
Happy upgrading! (Let me know how it goes, ok?)
